I am pregnant and living in Texas. The father of my child and I have broken up, he is not my husband and never has been. If I move to Michigan before the child is born, can he take me to court and force me to return to Texas once the child is born and paternity is established?

No, he cannot force you to move back if you move away while you are pregnant and you are not married.

He would have to file for visititation/custody where you move. If/when he does, then you would ask for support.

What are you plans about requesting support if he doesn't make the first move?

I honestly just want to be free of him. If he wants to see his child I won't stop him or fight him. But staying in Texas just isn't a good option for me. If he chooses to file for visitation, then I will pursue child support. He wants me to have an abortion, and has told me this. Last night he threatened to kill it if I have it. I really wanted to know what the legal ramifications would be if I left before the baby came, which looks like I had better do or be forced to stay in Texas indefinitely.

Thank you for your response.
