Walking and yoga are both safe ways to get exercise and should pose no risk.In fact, walking is highly encouraged during pregnancy.
Some tests claim to be able to detect pregnancy before a missed period but I think you will get more accurate results if you wait until your period is one week late.
Always use first morning urine and try to use the stick during mid stream output.

As long as yoga and walking were a part of your daily life before, there is no need to stop when trying to get pregnant. Remember it takes the average healthy couple up to a year of trying before actually becoming pregnant. Some sooner, some later.
Make sure you are taking folic acid now, as it prevents certain birth defects that appear many times before you even know you are pregnant and they are not reversible.
Testing is most accurate using first morning urine AFTER you miss your period.
