I have a friend who owes me $3500. I went to small claims court and obtained a judgment from the court. She has still not paid me. She owns a home that does have equity in it. How do I go about filing a lien on the house so that she can not sell it without her having to pay me?

Ask the clerk at the county courthouse. They should be able to give you the correct paperwork.
Are you unable to garnish the defendant's wages? The would probably be much easier than filing a lien.

How would she sell it without equity?
I guess she could some day. In the mean time, you might want to, as this8384 has suggested, garnish her wages so as to get your money in months rather than years.
