I won a small claims case and the defendant made 3 payments out of 4. I then went back to do the wage execution but they tell me that since a child support order is in place that they cannot do garnishee. So, what else can I do to get my money? Please help...

Depends on the State - you can also lien against bank accounts in "most" States.

I assume that they can't garnish the defendant's wages because doing so would put his/her income below the federal poverty limit.

Like Judy said, you might be able to freeze their bank accounts.

To be honest, you should feel lucky that you got 75% of your judgment. Most people don't get anything.
