I'm throwing a fairly low key bachelorette party in Phoenix, staying the night at a local hotel. I know it's hot and hotels aren't at capacity, so who do I talk to in order to get great room rates at the hotel I want? We'll only be booking three rooms so I don't think I'll be able to get a deal in that regard. Any suggestions would be so helpful.

Call every hotel and ask a price for whoever answers. Then start calling back and giving them the prices you have that are cheaper at other hotels. Depending on how pricey you want to get I would say call and ask for a manager, explain that you want multiple rooms but you are only looking for someone who can meet the exact qualifications that you want. Rooms together on the same floor, a suite, connecting rooms. Be informed with what you want before you call, that can be very helpful.

Hi, courtie_7!

In addition to the very fine answer above, I'd like to add, that rates for hotels will also vary within the same chain of hotel. So, comparative pricing between the same chain of hotels can be helpful. One of things that I like to do is to ask, "Can you help me out with the price". I've gotten many discounts doing that.

Thanks!
