Have blower panel door off but do not know what to look for to determine if blower is set on medium or high. Any help appreciated. Also if set on Medium, how to change to high?

Thanks

Trace the wires coming from fan to the circuit board, its lableled where they are plugged in
Most are preset at the factory for what they are designed to run on.
Before you change the speed make sure you have a clean filter

High does not mean better cooling. A slower speed actually removes thew humidity better. Which is an ac's main purpose.

Yes, longer hang time does provide better condensate removal, but since cold air is denser you typically want a higher speed than during heating season.

I would say give the higher speed a try if you need better air circulation. But that may just be an indicator of needed duct work remediation.

It appears this is a package furnace. The control board has cooling and a heating terminal for the evaporative/ blower motor. That means the unit has different speeds for heating and cooling. The motor should be labaled which color is which. If the motor has four speeds or three speeds you can change the speed. If it is only a two speed motor than the speeds you have is what you get.
