I found 4 bills in my husband's drawer. The Japenese Government TenPesos. He was in Japan at the end of the Korean war. Are they of any value?

Hi, pat shea!
Yes, there is such a thing as a Japanese issued Pesos. What are the years and any other numbers and names on the currency, please?
Thanks!

Hello I have found my grandfathers WWII money. In it there is a Japenese pesos for 100 (0258867 in red) and a red {4} in the lower corner and a 10 that says "DE JAPANSCHE REGEERING TIEN GULDEN S I (jungle in front, palm trees and water in back) and also some small pieces of banks note. I suspect those are just cents in their value, but am curious about the 100 & the 10. Does anyone have any idea at all?
Thanks, Lisa
