I am a widow of over 10 years now. I lost the home my husband and I had because of medical bills due to his cancer. I have really stayed in bad shape money wise ever since. I have been fighting for my disability for over 3 years now. I an application into the VA for a widows pension now. I would just love to have my own home again. A place to call my own in the country. I want to just live out the rest of my life in peace and quiet. I have no money saved to put down on a home and my credit is still in bad shape. Is there any place I can go to get help?

You may be eligible for a VA loan. That would allow a minimal down payment and forgive most credit issues.

However, the crux is if you can afford the house to begin with. A mortgage counselor will work with you on that.

If you would like a recommendation for a VA loan specialist that I highly recommend, send me a private message.
