My neighbor has several cats running loose that she feeds daily. We've tried the humane society with no prevail. Now they have gotten into my craw space and multiplied around a dozen or so and I can't get them all out to block the entry off. Can you help?

Can you hire cat traps frpm the shelter or from animal control?

They are basically a cage with a trip pad so when the cat steps on it the door snaps shut.

We had to do that with stray cats we had here except we rigged up a home made one with a dog crate and a really long piece of twine :D

Call animal control. They can trap the cats and get them out of there. Then, you'll have to seal off your crawl space so this doesn't happen again! Good luck...

Wow... how many are there? Animal control still has the responsibility to assist... I mean, nothing will be solved by allowing these cats to multiply out of control! I'd keep on them, plus I'd contact my alder person, mayor and whomever it takes. Don't give up...

When you say craw, do you mean 'crawl' space? Isn't it called a crawl space?

In any rate, definitely call animal control. If you can't find them, let me know what city your in and I can find them for you :)

It was suggested to me to write a letter to your local newspaper about the situation.

Usually bad publicity will make animal control come crying to your door.

Yep. Shame them publicly, and you'll get some results!

Wow, ask animal control to define "animal control." I mean, isn't this exactly what they are supposed to be doing?

And your neighbor sounds like a real winner too. Are you saying they are actually hers? If so, have a talk with this woman and see if you can solve that issue. Or do you just mean they're strays that hang around her house cause she feeds them, but they aren't really hers?
