Got this vague recollection of a movie about some strange white cobwebby type stuff that coated everything.. it was painful to touch or burned or something. Eventually it gets washed away by the rain. Must have been v young when I saw it but a few images have stayed with me.

Jordancaddy - do you know ? I think you're right. Well done that man ! I was only about 5 but for some reason it's bugged me for years and I've just read the synopsis of that episode called 'the intruder' and it sounds exactly right.

Now to track that down on eBay or something!
