Water dispenser works fine no water getting to icemaker.

Make sure the icemaker is calling for water. You should be able to hear the water valve for about 5-8 seconds when it calls for water. The line that feeds the icemaker may be frozen where it goes into the wall of the freezer.

Could be frozen line but more likely defective water solenoid valve. Probably behind toe kick plate. Available at appliance parts stores.

I am continuing to have issues with my Kenmore Coldspot not producing water to the ice tray. I have tried to use a hairdryer inside of the icebox, yet nothing! Any other suggestions?
