Are you wanting to start a rap band or get a recording started or what?
First you would need the people for your group and then make a CD and try to get it well known. How old are you?
We need more information like would you be the singer, writing the songs or what?

Usually with a good beat! The same way any song starts!

how do u start a rap?

Are we talking a rap like

I am sick when I jump on a beat, one up every pheat/
As I put up my feat, on this seat and spit some heat/
About my life in my shoes, my experiences, my tattoo's/
How at 6 I made the news for abuse, from this bruise/
On my back, back when I was attacked in that shack/
Where I was smoking a sac, and got whacked and went black/
But just sit back and enjoy 25 years in 3 minutes on a track/

Haha just whipped that up, anyway..

You want to start with an idea and then just flow off it. Try to have the words rhyme but also make sense. Look up some tutorials. When you get good enough you can incorporate punchlines, multi's and puns into your "spits."

Have fun, "Freestyle rap, or story telling" is a musical style full of potential and fun for everyone. ;)

Yep just come up with a couple words and then Dr Suess it up.

One of my raps goes

So you want to spin that spit
Your goal is the hit
You might not know $H!TT
But you want the split
Hollywood is it

First I'd suggest figuring out your topic. What do you want to rap about?

Hi, adamaquino33!

Having a topic and putting it to a rhythm of some kind would be the first things to to. By the way, rhythm and beat aren't the same thing.

If you would like to start a rap here, I'm sure that there will be those of us who can help you to develop it. Please do try to keep things clean, though.

Thanks!
