One day I was driving my car and it just shut off on me.when I pulled over as I was on the highway(scary) I put in park and turned the car off and restarted it back up immediately and it started up and drove the rest of the way to my destination. When it gets low on gas it does this putting thing and then it sometimes cut off again and then restarts with no problem. When I start my car, it takes forever to turn over as if its not going to start.I took it to a mechanic and he claims he checked the fuel pressure and it was fine. Last week my battery died and now I am waiting to get a new battery for the car, but besides that its still cutting off on my. I even filled my tank up and put fuel injction and heet(dry gas) fluid in it and it stopped cutting off on me. However the night before my battery completely died it cut off again on the highway on a full tank of gas, so I am confused. Help anybody if you guys might know what the problem is with this car.***oh th car is a 96 buick riveria.**
