I ruined my hair a lot by using relaxers at home and I dyed my hair many time at home( all that in one year I have never used chemicals on my hair before), and I dyed 3 times in one week at one point, my hair originally soft but curly I was trying to do relaxer to save the time on blow drying now the hair that coming out of my head is not my hair it is weird, and I got a consultation over the phone and I was told that I changed the folicles of the hair and it will take years for my hair to go back to it's natural state, is that true? And if it is what can I do help me , is there pills, creams or treatment I should get to reverse that? Just any suggestion , I am very very depressed and I will do any thing to have my hair back. Thank u

Using hair relaxers and hair dyes can cause hair breakage, scalp irritation, scalp damage and hair loss. There isn't a pill that can reverse the damaging process. Do a deep condtioning treatment twice a week, it will make your hair healthy and soft. You can also use a leave-in conditioner.

Thank you pretty lady for answering, but I would like to know if what I was told was true about changing the hair follicle and it takes years to go back to it is original state, and is there treatment I can do at the hair salon that can help me , my hair now is not managaeble before I use relaxers and dyes in this past year I could blow dry it and it comes out straight and nice now it is not, I just do not know how to deal with it, and what can I do about the hair loss? Should I use rogain because my hair was falling so rapidly and how long use of rogain takes to see results?

If not properly done, permanent hair color and chemical relaxers damage the hair and follicle to the extent that hair loss can be permanent. If your hair is falling out, please consult a doctor about treatments.
