My 1993 Chevy S10 2.8L V6 has a problem. My ECM2 fuse won't stop poping. It is always hot so as soon as I touch the negetive battery cable to the battery it pops. Ive checked all of my sensors and have checked for any shorts. Tried just running straight power to my fuel pump with a toggle switch but then my injecters don't get power. Someone please help me.

The ECM may have an internal short--it happens all the time. NEVER try running power directly to the fuel pump. If you are in an accident you could have a giant fireball!

Is there anyway to check that out or do I just have to buy a new one. I just wired it to see if there was a short in between the fuel pump and ecm or something. Just to see if it would work. Im trying everything Iev had a bunch of people look at it and no one knows what's wrong with it. Thanks for helping me out!:)

Turn the ignition switch to ON and look for 5 reference volts from the MAP Sensor connector. Using a multi-meter, connect the Positive lead (Red) to, likely, the female socket on the right. Connect the Negative lead (Black) to a good ground on the engine. If the voltage is a fraction of a volt, the ECM is likely bad.
