I also get this one:
*enter 12 year old brother*
Him: "TORRID! WANNA PLAY A GAME?!"
Me: "....Huh? What? What do you want?"
H: "DO. YOU. WANNA. PLAY. A. GAME."
M: "Uh, yeah, sure, just give me 10 minutes."
H: "OKAY."
*10 minutes later*
H: "OKAY IT'S BEEN 10 MINUTES ARE YOU READY TO PLAY?!"
M: *looks at clock* "There is no way it's been 10 minutes! You're just impatient!"
H: "TORRID I AM 12 I CAN TELL TIME."
M: "Well...just for that attitude, you're going to have to wait 10 more minutes."
H: "TORRID YOU'RE A FATHEAD."
M: "Yeah, yeah, and you smell like a cheese doodle. ...Now where was I..."

Well... I've noticed that I can type a lot faster than before I found this site. I actually have coworkers once in a while wondering what the heck I'm typing since it's not really something I ever need to do unless I'm sending someone an email. Actually one of my friends at work just the other day was like, "Dang, where did you learn to type so fast?" and then another guy "You're not looking at the keys at all? You're sitting here talking to me and you're not even looking? Seriously?" I guess I have been spending quite a bit of time on here especially since my hours changed drastically at work for the last 2 months.

Sending for take out cause I'm so wrapped up in a post.
Chain smoking.
Toxic levels of coffee.
Not sleeping because I'm pondering over a question.
Suddenly realising I've spend 6 hours of my day off on the boards.
What I want to know is... what makes it addictive?
What am I getting out of it?
I'm past counting posts,or caring about greenies or reddies..
I have a problem.

Yeah I can relate especially the SUDDENLY realizing I've spent 8 hrs on my day off on the boards and didn't even get one load of laundry in.
I don't have the pondering problem. I guess because by the time I pull my fingers off the keyboard it is 12:30 pm and I fall to sleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.

Yeah, I am truly addicted. I used to just pop in during down time at work... now I seem to be avoid mundane work, just to help here.
There are days when the site is so interesting, I skip lunch, don't go to the bathroom, forget that I am a smoker...
Of course without popping in and being on all day, I have SO much to go through when I do make it on, so the best alternative is to never break... can't have AMHD falling behind. :D

Yes and the Chicago Rive which now flows out of Lake Michigan, they reversed the flow.
I lived right next to Navy Pier maybe two blocks from the shore, actually Lakeshore Drive was west of me and the lake was east.
