I own a GE refrigerator- It has an Ice Maker-

I followed the Instructions for making Ice(by pulling the lever of the Ice maker Down -but it

Has been over 30 minutes and there has been NO ICE SO FAR !

What is the problem?- may I know?


Also there is NO LIGHT in the freezer( unlike the rest of the refrigerator which always has light on when you open it) but there is cooling!

It can take 2 to 6 hours to harvest ice.

Many units do not have a light in the freezer.
