You'll have to shut the water off to the valve and replace the cartridge.
This will help; Installation Help / Animated Tutorial - Installing the Moen 1225 / 1200 Cartridge (http://www.moen.com/consumersupport/installation/moen0133/moen0133.cfm)
Moen handles, (see image) have a insert you can pop off to reveal a holding screw. Before you reassemble Don't forget to turn the water on to flush out the supplies. Good luck, Tom
