My shower hose is leaking at the join on the wall, I have unscrewed it and put a new washer in but now the part where the hose screws to the wall is cross threaded and is leaking even more, it's only plastic so I'm not surprised. Can I unscrew the part that is on the wall and replace it?
I've tried to move it but it seems pretty solid, will I damage the wall if I keep trying?

First thing to do is put the new washer in and start the threads properly. Once you get rid of vcthe cross thread that should solve your problem. If not click on back and tell me about it. Good luck, Tom

Thanks Tom, I have tried a couple of times to rescrew it but the thread is really broken and it doesn't even do up properly, I think I need to replace the part on the wall and buy a new shower hose.

Are the threads coning out of the wall replaceable? What's the brand name of your shower valve. Is the hose the only shower head you have or do you have a overhead shower head? Regards, Tom

Hi Tom,
I'm not sure, it think they must be replaceable but I think it is stuck to the wall/tiles and if I try to remove it I might pull the tiles off.
There is only one hose that comes out of the wall and attatches to the shower head.
I think our shower is made by Triton.
