Hi everyone,

I wanted to know how can I achieve light ash brown hair. My hair is color treated, right now it's a dark brown shade with a little brassines. I haven't colored it since 8 months ago, so the color is pretty faded. Someone on another site recommended I use a Natural Medium Ash Blonde hair color with a developer of 30 volume. She said the haircolor I want is light and she said I need to go up 3 levels. Should I use a 20 or 30 volume developer? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Since your hair has already been treated, it's probably more porous than normal hair so volume twenty might be enough for you, but if you really do want a significant change, volume 30 would be best
