Oay I love writing books and I want to know how could I talk to a publisher or an author about my idea's and atories can someone tell me how I could do one or both of those things and how much does an author make thank you to anyone that answers :D

First you want to write your stuff and make a dated copy that will prove you wrote it and when you had it copywrited. Then take a copy to a publisher.
DO not trust a publisher. My friend started Veggie Tales back in the early 80's and her publisher stole it and sold it. She didn't make a dime off it since.

If you want to get in touch with publishers in the US, it can be a good idea to

1. take Nohelp4u's advice about copyright etc.

2. find a literary agent.

Most of the larger publishers in the US (as well as some in the UK from what I understand) does not accept copies directly from the authors themselves, which means that you have to go through an agent.

Of course this is from what I understand...
