Price is an object.

Lets pretend we are engineers and need the least expensive part which will operate properly within the parameters.

I don't need a Gucci, prada or Armani Heat pump and air handler.
Just need something that functions and is reasonably quiet.. 73 dB. Or less.

I live in Portland, Oregon.
Currently I have a 3 ton heat pump with 15 kw heat strips in the air handler.

Every company just pushes their brand.
Dependable and Quiet System. Need Heat Pump/E. Handler Recommendation...

Best bang for the $$ is Goodman but you will have to find out about the noise rate. Check the Goodman manufacturing site for that info.

So you would say they are OK.

What I said was.

The install is more important than the brand.
