I just recently tried to replace a Casablanca ceiling fan light bulb with the same spec bulb (E11 base, 120V, 100W mini candelabra) and the new bulb stays on all the time... I can't switch it off anymore... I tried this with two new bulbs, but same result. Please help!

That's not a bulb problem, but a problem with the control. Is it an InteliTouch fan? Did you change the bulb with the power on?

I thought so after reading your other answers... it IS an InteliTouch fan and I DID leave the power on when changing the bulb, my bad. So, do I need to buy another wall control switch? Or is there any way to reset?

Probably fried the controller in the motor. You can order parts from Casablanca Fan Repair (http://www.casablancafanrepair.com) it might get expensive.

You play drums?

The fan still works from the switch and has intermediate speeds, does that suggest anything? Or should I just start ordering a new controller? Bummer. Yep, been playing drums as a hobby off and on for about 22 years now. Only played with a couple small bands though. Im a Civil Engineer for my real job. :)

Girl drummers are pretty cool, regardless of professional status. Check out Joy Williams, Sheryl Harper, DeArcus Curry (young girl from MS) etc on YouTube.

Yeah it's fried. If you want we can just wire it to it's own switch, it will be much cheaper than fixing the IT.. . But then you won't have all the cool control capabilities.
