Why won't my washing machine spin

If the machine works okay but just won't spin it's probably the lid switch that went bad. This is a safety mechanism that keeps the machine from spinning when the lid is open. Easy fix for a repairdude or if you have a multitester to test the switch, then you know it's bad and can buy a replacement.
