I currently work for an organization as a salaried employee. They want to hire me for some night hours at a different department. My question is... since I am salary at one job are the hours at the second job eligible for overtime? I will work about 20 hours at the night job. I want to know what is the law before I start working the night hours. Please help! Thanks

You can be eligiable for overtime even on your salary job if your salary is low enough, they have a min salary you have to make before they can't pay you overtime.

But I doubt they are looking at you making overtime, and are just offering you those hours at the base rate
