When we turn on our shower, water leaks out of the handle. I don't know the make or model #. It's a large round knob that is clear and has many edges. It's ugly. It's an "all in one" knob, pressure, hot, cold, on, off.

If the knob looks like the one on the left your valve's a Delta. Is that what it looks like? How old is it? Back to you, Tom

Snug up #4 the bonnet nut and see if that doesn't stop the leak.. Good luck, Tom

I went to take the screw out and it seems as if someone has attempted this before. The handheld screw driver just went around and the screw didn't budge. Hmmm...

Are you saying the threads are striped or can't you get a bite on the screw head?

Stripped

What Tom means by the stripped, when the slot at the screw head is damaged and the screw driver will slip on it.
If the screw head is damaged and you are not able to remove it by a screw driver, you can drill a hole in the center of the screw head and use an easy out, for more info open the link below and will show how to remove a stripped screw, Thanks.
