Check this out:

Alli Diet Weight-Loss Pill. (http://myflp.org/blog/2009/02/does-ali-diet-weight-loss-pill-work/)

It prevents absorption of fats in the intestine, but there is a downside to it.

Basically, it makes you poo whenever you eat anything with fat in it. Sometimes before you get to the toilet. And often so much poo that you can block up the whole toilet system. Not fun.

In studies, it does work better than placebo, but not much. Over a year, someone taking Xenical (the double strength prescription version of Alli) will lose 6lb more than someone taking the placebo. So over a year, with Alli, you should expect to lose 3lb more than dieting along.

Bear in mind that Alli is expensive, and the side-effects are nasty, and be sure those 3lb are worth it to you.
