K so my step dad and my mom have been together about 11 years now. Before he went to jail she told me how much she hated him and hopes he dies because she wants all his money and that's the only reason why she stays with the loser. When he was in jail I would go to her house all the time and we would hangout and talk about everything. I finally felt that I had a mom for the first time in my life. (I live with my dad and always have) stepdad was only in jail for 6 months and since the months has been over (march) I've only talked to her twice and only saw her once. I miss her so much but told her I wouldn't stay the night with him there. She told me that she was going to leave him and instead she loves him more then ever and never says a bad thing to him. Even though he did the worst thing he could possibly do to my mom. I don't want to call her because ill feel akward. I haven't talked to her since mothers day. I want to just go to her house but I feel that she would get mad at me. Should I call her anyway or just wait to see if she calls me at all?

Hmm... obviously your mom still loves you.

The problem, she is in love with someone else, and that can become a very addictive trait to have. (not saying being in love is bad, but rather takes all of your time) The problem, is most people cannot control who they love, or why.
This situation greatly reminds me of the episode of LOST killed her mother's love because he was abusive... (season 1 I think, it really relates to you)

Anyway, you should find out when the stepdad isn't going to be there, out of town for the weekend or something, and talk to your mother when he isn't around. Explain to her that you don't believe he is good for her. You cannot change how she feels about her, but you would like some time with her without him being around. I'm sure she'll understand, and be able to schedule some quality mother-daughter time.
