Hi,I have a concord 80 plus furnace installed in 2002... Everything is kicking on the fan turns on, the igniter ignites the gas , and a minute or so later the blower comes on... problem is the air is cool and barely blowing?? all vents are open correctly... cold air return is working fine... filter is brand new... light is pulsing a heartbeat pulse which indicates normal operation... any clues for me?? Thanks Ed

The two main causes of this would be a dirty/clogged coil or you're getting low on freon.
The first is a diy job if you can get access to the coil to clean it with a good coil cleaner, but the latter is certainly a job for a professional if your system uses Freon, but possibly a diy job if it uses the modern stuff that you can buy from auto parts stores.
If it were me I'd call a couple HVAC companys for a free estimate to solve the problem... then based on what they say, decide whether it's something I want to attempt to do on my own.

I am having trouble figuring out how you could have such a problem in a fairly new system. The only thing I can think of is that somehow, you got a bunch of crud sucked into the heat exchanger. Follow the air path down stream from the filter to where it goes into the heat exchanger. Can you see any crud on the walls? Even if it is restricted, the limit switch should cut out.
Check your ducts. Maybe plenty of warm air is exiting the heat exchanger, but leaking out a hole in the duct work. Start with checking the returns for a good air flow. Good flow at the return, and poor flow at the supply, means a duct problem.

Hi, It's Ed again... Found out the problem with my furnace... It was the gas leaking in the pipe out in front of my house... wasn't allowing enough gas flow to my furnace and hot water tank... when it was just the hot water tank I didn't notice because it didn't affect normal operation... The funace reapairman misdiagnosed the problem and replaced the main gas valve contol I think it was and he figured out the problem of no gas flow to the house... He was awesome .He ate the cost of coming out and left with nothing.. But I got a $800 bill for 150 ft of line replacement,, I had to have a Certified Gas Specialist come out... What a crock(no insurance for this through gas company,, you should look into this it's cheap)and heat again... Thanks all for your answers////////////Ed

Having problems with the air conditioner unit. House is ice cold downstairs but hot upstairs. What do you think this could be.
