My F150 QC shift is locked into place and won't move. My automatic windows won't work either and the cab lights aren't working. Just walked out this morning and all of a sudden I have these problems! Also, when you push my cruise control 'on' it honks the horn.. Help!

Sometimes if your parked on a hill or against a curb and jam the shift in park it locks up is this the case?

No. It's parked in my flat driveway. It was working fine yesterday - I just stepped in to go to work and all these things don't work.

Everything else works fine - starts right up, radio works, side mirrors work, auto locks work, headlights, brake lights, just the auto windows, the cruise honks the horn and the cab lights don't work. Also, the steering wheel won't lock now. When I turn off the truck, the steering column doesn't lock. I'm stumped.

I'm staying with ignition hopefully you will get a expert, usually when it keeps popping up to the top they catch it so its good where talking.

My thought is a broke ignition would lock up the shift, and possibly cause the short that is causing the horn/cruise cross-over,I just talked to my buddy he's not a mechanical expert he's a body technician but he has to take steering shafts apart etc. and he feels the same

How does that tie into the power windows though?

A short from the broke ignition,or broke connection
