View Full Version : Can I have a judgement removed if I file bankruptcy?

I'm not sure I worded that right. I hava a judgement against me in OR.
I now live in OK and am getting ready to try and file bankruptcy. Can I count the company that filed the judgement in my list of creditors for the bankruptcy? If so will it erase the judgement eventually?
Thanks...

It definitely won't erase the judgement. At most it may discharge the debt. Ask your bankruptcy attorney if that will be the case.
