Let me rephrase my question. I am on felony probation in Santa Cruz, I am given permission by my probation officer to live in San Jose. The sheriff department in Santa Cruz have a call from a civilian who reports that I am displaying the same criminal behaviors as before, but cannot prove anything, while also advising them that I would be violating my probation if there was a case. Can a detective from the Santa Cruz sheriff department decide to do a probation search on my home in San Jose? What are the jurisdiction laws as far as sheriffs go, county to county? Would they have to speak to my Probation Officer, or to the Other county sheriff department first to get a clearance of some kind? Can they take your computers just because, if given enough time to go through them there might be some kind of evidence? Would they not have to have some kind of lead to the computer, or at least find something relevant on the computer at the sight of seizure to enable them to take pocession of your computer, and leaving a note of what they took and that they were only holding these items to investigate? If they find some relevant evidence on the computer will I ever get it back? And what about all the other personal stuff on the computer, they can have a party on you and all your personal life? I must also add that this was a family law case where I was tried in a criminal court for getting community property funds from my ex, after hiring my forth divorce attorney and trying to do things legally, was not able to obtain 1 penny alimony, while my ex live in a gated community in our million dollar home, an I was living in my car and my storage with not even money for food. I was married for 21 years, had four children with this man, and was a home maker for 16 years. Last thing, we own at least four homes, and till today five years later, am still in court and not one thing has been divided at all.:(
