I have a problem with water flowing from my hot water faucets in every sink in my house.
When I first turn on the water it flows well, but after only a short time it turns to just a trickle? Nothing works in the showers, sinks or laundry.
What do I need to do to correct this problem.
Please help!

Sounds like someone's neglected to flush their heater out on a regular maintenance schedule and now the minerals built up in the bottom of the tank has entered the hot water system and is now clogging your supplies and the inlet ports of your faucets.
There is no easy fix to this. The hot water system must be opened up and flushed out. Then each faucet should be checked and there's still a problem they should be flushed out as well. But before anything's done the heater should be flushed and cleared of mineral build up.
For long life and fewer troubles you should keep your heater clear of mineral build-up by FLUSHING NOT DRAINING on a regular schedule. Attach a hose to the boiler drain at the bottom of the tank. With the pressure on, open the boiler drain and let it run until the water runs clear. You will see a spurt of red,(rust) followed by white or yellow grains,(lime or calcium carbonate). This shouldn't take more then a few minutes. Do this monthly to keep it clear. Now flush out your hot water lines on ALL fixtures that are affected . Now pull each aerator and clean the screens. Be sure you put them back together the same way you took them out. Don't forget to flush it out every month. Your heater will thank you for it. Hope this helps and thank you for rating my answer, Tom
