Hi,
I have a newer faucet in the kitchen (kohler1 year) and a dishwasher attached...
New Hot water heater and I am having very low hot water pressure in the kitchen only.
I am trying to figure out why, I know the faucet has a temperature control. Could this be it?
Or is in the pipes. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hey Toby,
I wasn't aware that Kohler made a deck faucet that was temperature controlled. Do you have a model number on it? But I don't think that's your problem. What I think has happened is that installing the heater you disturbed some crud built up insde the pipe walls and the kitchen sink was the first fixture to make a draw and some crud got sucked into the cartridge inlet ports where it's now blocking them. Shut the water off under the cabinet and open up the faucet and check and clean the inlet ports in the cartridge. Before you reassemble the faucet turn the hot water on and flush out the supply. Good luck, Tom

There sure is Toby. The only problem is that you pulled up the wrong faucet.
A Kohler Forte is a whirlpool faucet not a kitchen sink one.
Let me repeat, What I think has happened is that installing the heater you disturbed some crud built up insde the pipe walls and the kitchen sink was the first fixture to make a draw and some crud got sucked into the cartridge inlet ports where it's now blocking them. Shut the water off under the cabinet and open up the faucet and check and clean the inlet ports in the cartridge. Before you reassemble the faucet turn the hot water on and flush out the supply. Good luck, Tom
