View Full Version : Lawn chief mower won't start

Have a lawn chief mower that won't start. I think it is the ignition switch and not the connectors behind it. When I turned the key to run the light came on but wouldn't turn over like it did minutes before. I probably would have a hard time finding a replacement ignition switch. My question would any switch work? Or where could I go to get a replacement switch

Battery good? (well you say lights come on, how bright?)

Battey is fine. I think the switch has a short. When I turned to on light came on now it doesn't. I think switch first shorted out with ignition then light. I wonder if a ignition swith from another type of lawnemower will work.

If it's the same style.. a new ignition switch actually isn't that much to try (around 10 or so bucks)
