Is there a statue of limitations on reporting a scam marriage. A friend married a immigrant to get a green card and stay in the USA. After receiving the temporary green card he moved out to another city. He pays her money each month. When the 2 years is up she will go to immigration to say they have been together for the two years and are happily married. He had an affair with another women and also has a child from that
Affair. If he receives his permanent green card can this information be brought to the attention of ICE and can he be deported?

Thank you for the answer. If he gets his permanent green card can he still be sent back.
Is there any way to check on someone's status with only knowing the name.

No, privcacy concerns prohibit third parties from "checking" someone's immigration status. Let ICE do their work.
