I just got off my period yesterday, and I had unprotected sex last night - we used the pull-out method. Could I be pregnant?

pull out method = baby

this is not a method of birth control. This is how we make mommies and daddies.

this method provides no safety for pregnancy and disease prevention.

visit your obgyn and discuss various means of contraception.

Pull out method is a real joke, confused. It only takes a teeny eeny bit of sperm to do the job properly. For heavens sake ! Why did you use a condom !

You will have to wait and see if you are pregnant.

You could be yes.
While the odds are less pregnancy can still happen.

The "pull out method" is not a method at all. Pre-ejaculation contains sperm, a lot of people are here simply call it The Parent Method.

Wait until your period is next due and if it does not come take a pregnancy test using first morning urine.

You can also consult your doctor about other methods (plan B) but you need to book an appointment today.

While you are at the doctors ask him if he has any pamphlets on safe sex or ask your mother.

The 'pull out method' is not considered safe sex.
If you had unprotected sex you have 72 hours to take the morning after pill.
I suggest you go to the doctor.

Please visit a planned parenthood center near you. They can educate you on what is birth control and what is NOT. Pull out doesn't prevent pregnancy. About all it prevents is that gooey mess you have to clean up at the end.

Yes you could be pregnant. Are you? We dotn know. See your doctor or the planned pregnancy center near you.

If you are not ready for pregnancy and a baby, then you are NOT ready for sex..

I doubt you are pregnant, but there is a chance it could happen.

My girlfriend and I had sex once a couple days after her period which is a lot worst since most girls ovulate around day 12-16. Sperm can live inside a girl for about 4 days. Some people have proved that sperm can only be in pre- if the male has ejaculated within the last 24-48 hours. Also urine can kill sperm in the urethra because of the acidity so if he has pee'd a lot that can also help.

My girlfriend is also on birthcontrol though, and she did not become pregnant. I will never have sex without a condom again until I'm ready to be a dad though.

Next time use a condom though

No form of birth control is 100% effective, so every time you have sex there's a chance of pregnancy.

The pull out method, it's laughable. There's a name for people who use that method, it's mom and dad.

Are you pregnant? It's possible, but you'll have to wait and see. If you're still in the window of time for the morning after pill, that's the route I'd take. While there, find a better birth control method.

Good luck.

Its possible you could be pregnant, I thought pulling out wouldn't get me pregnant and I was wrong. . Because now I am 2 months pregnant & getting ready to become a mother & its really stresful and hard, I say just wait about 10-14 days & take a pregnancy test.. goodluck.

If you are worried that you are pregnant, then sex wasn't your best idea. Period. Not only could you get pregnant with this so called "Pull out Method (not a method)" but you could catch anything that the boy has. You have no idea if he has anything and you can't tell just by looking either. So I would go to the Dr. not only to get the Plan B but also get checked. Don't have sex unprotected unless you are ready for a baby!

For those saying there is no point in pull out method may want to look some information up. It's not reliable as most birth control options, but most websites will tell you if it's done correctly it has a 8-25% failure rate. Now I still agree that you should use birth control pill and/or condom, but pulling out is somewhat effective. This is the source of one of many websites Birth Control Methods - The Advantages and Disadvantages - 2womenshealth.com (http://www.2womenshealth.com/Birth-Control.htm) the pullout method is listed as Coitus interruptus.
