Hi,

Me and my boyfriend have been together over a year and for the last 6 months we have not been using protection when we have sex but he pulls out, so I was wondering whether I could still get pregnant? Its not what we want to have a baby now but soon we do want a baby. I am 16 and he is 17 we love each other a lot and we have sex a lot every time we get the chance to but the problem is I'm not sure what's going on with me because I started my period on the 5th of July and it only lasted 2 days and me and my boyfriend were having sex all through my period and before and after but after we had sex there was light pink spotting I have been getting since my period finsihed especially when I wipe after going to the toillet even after my period I am getting pain in my sides and back what could be going on? It would be so great if you could help I know you can't tell me for sure if I am ovalatiing or pregnant but id rather ask first then maybe go to the doctors or get a pregnancy test I geusse ill see how it goes for the next week or so and the thing is my periods are normally long and 30 days in between and this time it wasn't I understand it may just be nothing. Me and my boyfriend only used to use condoms I have never been on the pill. Thanks xx

Go buy a test and take it at home... pulling out does not mean you will not get pregnant. And sometimes spotting occurs when pregnant. My wife though of I just had a small period once. Than a week later found out she was pregnant.

Um yes... you can get pregnant when you pull out, there is higher sperm count in the pre process than in the actual excitement blow
Buy a 5 day before your missed period test. And there is spotting in the first month

Pulling out is not a real method no matter what any site online may say. It merely reduces the amount of sperm not stops all of the sperm in the early fluid or even in fluids that release when he is "almost" there.

Peoiple who use pull out "method" are just called parents.

Even one method, Pill or condom is not 100 percent so if you don't want a baby, use both methods

Fr_chuck is right, pulling out doesn't prevent pregnancy, nor will it prevent any STDs.

If you are really serious about NOT wanting to have a baby, I would suggest the best, 100% fool proof contraceptive.

DO NOT HAVE SEX.

If you are not ready for a child, you are NOT ready for sex.

Good luck hon.

You have some very misguided information if you think that a baby will keep you and your boyfriend together. If you think that at 16 and 17 you are even close to being ready financially, physically and emotionally, you don't have a clue.

I was a teenage mother at 17. I was in your shoes once, naïve enough to believe that if I ended up pregnant it was a gift of God. That what was meant to be, was meant to be and I wasn't going to be smart enough to stop 'fate'. Twelve years later I can tell you those are the thoughts of an idiot!

Stop tempting fate, there are heavy consequences to be paid and you will pay them for a long time. And there a 99.9% chance that your boyfriend won't stick around when 'fate' steps in.

PROTECT YOURSELF AND PROTECT YOUR BODY. Use multiple forms of birth control. Go to your nearest Planned Parenthood today, before it's too late.

The pull-out "method" is a method for getting pregnant.

At your age, hormones fluctuate constantly, most likely until you are at least 21, which means your periods will change. There are also changes in your cervix that happen as you cycle. That may cause pain during intercorse depending are near ovulation, menstration, etc.

Since your not using any protection from pregnancy or STDs, visit your doctor for a PAP smear and physical exam. Your doctor needs to know you are engaging in dangerous activity which could affect your health.
