I want to know after we get the marriage liceness at the court house how do we get married there and do we have to have consoling? Also how much does it cost to get the liceness and married at the chattanooga court house? Help were getting married in August

I don't know of any state that requires counseling prior to the issuance of a marriage license. The local court house can advise you concerning all fees and availability of a judge to perform the ceremony.

Michigan USED to require counseling prior to the issuance of a marriage license. That was 13 years ago. Don't know if they still do.
