We've been talking that we're sending our son to military school. We've not fully decided on it yet since we're unsure if we could afford it. They say that it's very expensive. And yes, I found out that the costs is actually relative, an estimated $40,000 a year according to the site Military Schools for Boys (http://www.militaryschools411.com/military-schools/the-costs-of-a-military-boarding-school.html). Any parent here who have any knowledge on how much does it really cost?

Yup, the cost of military style boarding school are as high as $50,000 an year. But considering the benefits of military boarding school, the parents who can afford such schooling, it's very beneficial & prospective for the students even who don't want to join military as a career. http://militaryschools.us/category/military-benefits/, there is very informative information on such subject. Check out to get the more idea.
