Hi,
I have a Bryant model#310AAV042090ACJA Gas furnace. The system just won't turn on. I checked and the LED light is completely off. Turned power off to system, gas off, waited couple minutes, turned back on; nothing - won't turn back on. Strange thing is that at night it did not work, then in morning, for some time, it worked and now it does not work anymore.
Please help. I will post some pictures on http://3nportal.com/furnace
Thanks

Also, on thermostat, there is a star (*) that is flashing continuously.

Sounds to me like either your transformer is bad, the 3 amp fuse on circuit board is bad, or you have a loose or bad 24 volt wiring somewhere... also change the batteries in tstat.

Thanks for your quick reply.
I changed the battery on thermostat, still same thing - flashing start
You mentioned 3 amp fuse on circuit board. Do you know where this might be so that I could check?
Re transformer - where would this be and is there anyway that I could check to see if its bad? What do I need to purchase to do the testing?
THANK YOU

The 3 amp fuse is in circuitboard in unit... it is where the led flashes from. Remove that panel and it will be in there. The transorfer is in same place. You will need a voltmeter that can check continuity to check the transformer.
If fuse is bad change it and if it blows quickly you will need a tech to come out. That means you have a short somewhere and it will need to be found.

Also if the fuse does not blow and your transformer has resistance by checking it with an ohm meter it might be the circuit board
