I live in Kissimmee, Fl. We have 2 months left on our lease. I have come to find out due to unfortunate circumstances (numerous break ins and robberies) from my neighbors and the local police department that this is not the neighborhood any one would want to live in due to the Gangs that roam the neighborhood. Now, I have to say, I have never lived in Kissimmee and was unaware of the situation when we moved into this lovely 2 bed-2 bath duplex. I now can see why it was so reasonable. Anyhow, my husband and I have called the property manager to ask how we can resolve the situation and she clearly does not care. I am now in fear for my life and property. We do not want to loose our deposits as I am out of work and they have cut back on my husbands hours. Yet we do not want to risk staying here two more months. What do I do?

Probably nothing you can do. Two months is not that long a time. You do not have grounds to break your lease.
