I have an old white-rogers thermostat that was OEM for Dico. About ten years old. The model #1f80-73 cannot be found anywhere. No reference on the several dozen websites I've checked out; not even WR.

I finally found a customer service number (it wasn't easy) at Emerson the parent company. They told me and I quote, " That's not our thermostat. That's Dico." When I asked did you not make this Dico, she said "I don't know" That was truly 'customer no-service'.

I eventually found someone that had a slight idea of what my problem was and they recommended model #1f95-1277 to replace mine.

Naturally it has all the bells and whistles and is one of the most expensive - $140 with shipping. I just don't trust this bunch.

Can anyone offer any suggestions.

If your going to spend that kind of money forget white ridgers and go with honeywell visionpro 8000.

What kind of system do you have? Gas? Oil? Ac? 2 stage or one stage? That will help us help you with selection. Also what kind of features do you want with t stat? Programmable or not?
