I am trying to find out if I can get any kind of visitation to my nephew. My sister has recently lost custody of her son to his paternal grandparents. The father is in the marines and has been for the last 4 years. My nephew is 5. The grandparents will not allow me, my mother, or my brother to visit with my nephew. I would like to know what I can do about this. I am in the state of New Jersey.

Your parents, the boys' grandparents, can petition for visitation. I see no provision in NJ for you to be granted visitation.

Did you fight the grandparents, attempt to get custody of the boys?

Aunts or uncles have no visit rights what so ever.
