I have a GE clothes washer Model WIS309DTAWW that spins for a few seconds and stops for a few more seconds and then starts and stops again. When it should be spinning at the end of washing it does not spin at all. The timer is moving but no action to spin the water out of the clothes.

It sound like my have more then one problem. The timer may be bad or the motor is shutting do to a the motor getting to hot
