I live in Dubai and brought my English bought Netgear out with me, assured that it would work fine out here I installed the wizard disc onto my laptop. Not only did this not work, but it appears to have reconfigured my internet settings so that I cannot access the internet at all now! Any suggestions please?

I have a Netgear too and have had a few problems with it.

I would suggest you contact the Netgear Support site. They are excellent and I feel sure that they will be able to advise you with your problem.

Netgear is normally very quick to reply to those requesting support, normally within 24 hours.

Hook the router direct to your computer using the network cable (RJ45 cable).

Open your browser and point to Index of / (http://192.168.0.1) or http://192.168.1.1 (not sure if this is the default address - check the netgear website for details). Try configure your router from there.
