Hi yea I have a toshiba laptop computer I have windows vista home premium and I was wanting to ask a question well my computer was working fine I turned it off and when I turned it back on it was saying bootmgr (press ctrl+alt+del) to restart and I have sent my laptop to the toshiba company for repair and they send me a note when they send it back to me saying something about currupted or damaged hard drive so do you or anyone know what can I do to get my computer working again like its supposed to be or not ? I do not have a boot cd/dvd or a recovery cd/dvd so I am unable to do something that way I do not have a windows vista recovery cd/dvd or boot disk either its been awhile since I have had a problem with my laptop and all of a sudden its messed up again

Without recovery disk, you would need to either purchase the recovery disks for your laptop or see if you can borrow a Home Premium from someone if possible.
Usually when this will happens, you would need to try a repair installation or do a full system recovery.
Of course would try the repair installation first.

If you do get the recovery disks from toshiba, you should get the option to repair the system as an option wihen booting with the disks and also format and recover from scratch as well.
If borrowing a CD from someone and need to do a full system recoery from scratch - use same linkl above and choose the Install Option instead of the repair option
