My husband recently finished a role in a play in which he was very successful. This was his return to the theatre after 21 years away with me, raising our children, etc. He became very close to the whole experience and bonded with the rest of the cast, especially with a young female lead character. I think he was smitten by her, and he has insisted that she is a friend that he wants to keep, even after the end of the show. I am not comfortable with his new bond with this woman, and even after he has watched me cry and be hurt and sad, he keeps her in his life. I don't trust his commitment to me anymore: he says that I am overreacting, but I don't know why he wants to keep a 5 month relationship and let it ruin a 21 year old marriage. Advice?
