I live in a Travel Trailer and I have a digital thermometer. It gets really hot in here during the day even though my ac is on high all the time. It only cools down at night. I think I may need freon service but want to check vent temp before calling.

Thank you
Pris

Not real sure on travel trailers. But normally on residential ac system, you are looking for between 15 and 20 degree difference between return temp and supply temp. So what this means is... take a temp reading of the temp in the trailer. Then take a temp reading at one of the supply registers, let us know what the difference is? Im assuming by travel triailer, you either mean motorhome, or pull camper. If so, it can be very difficult to keep these cool on very hot days. Make sure all windows and doors are sealed, and close any shades or curtain you have.

Make syre your filter is clean... and if you can get to coil on roof maybe wash it off with some water... this might help. Travel trailers and splits temps vary on year, make, insulation, ac system, and location of use. There is no real temp we can tell you to look for. Sorry
