My quaker parrots mate almost everyday and no eggs, whys is that? They have a cockatiel size nestbox, twigs, beeding plenty of food and water. They are very close always even when they sleep. The other day I saw that what I thought was the female trying to get on top of the male to mate, and viseversa. Could they both be males? Iam so confused. Please Help

They could both be females; they could both be males; one or the other could be sterile.

The only way to know is to take them to a "bird" Vet.

I think the best way of handling this is if you go to a vet or to a pet store and ask if they can identify the gender of your birds. Hope that helps. P.S: I don't know a lot about birds but my dad use to have some for pets.:p

You have to go to a vet that has avian experience.
